How the rows are built

1. Download the CMS file

CMS publishes the Doctors and Clinicians national file every month. It carries one row per physician per practice location, with NPI, specialty, medical school, and the practice address.

2. Dedupe by NPI

One physician can appear in a dozen rows. We collapse to one row per NPI and keep the primary practice, so you never pay for the same doctor twice.

3. Find and verify the email

We resolve the practice domain, find the address, and run every one through an SMTP check. Only addresses that pass go in the file, with the date they were checked.

The counts come from the CMS file we ship, computed at build time, with the file date printed next to them. Look up any NPI in the preview tables at npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov and you will find the same physician at the same practice.

Questions buyers ask

Where does the data come from?

The CMS Doctors and Clinicians national file and the NPPES registry, both public federal sources. We add the email and the practice website; nothing else is invented.

What does $295 buy?

One specialty file as CSV, downloadable the moment you pay, with unlimited use inside your company. There is no subscription and no seat count.

Is it legal to email physicians?

CAN-SPAM allows business to business email in the US. You need accurate headers, a real postal address, a working unsubscribe honored within 10 business days, and a subject line that matches the message. These are practice addresses from a public registry, not patient data, and the sending duty is yours.

What if the emails bounce?

If more than 5% of the verified emails hard-bounce on your first send within 30 days, send us the bounce report and we refund the $295. Keep the file.
